Job Description
Responsibilities Kforce's client is seeking an AML/BSA Analyst for a contract position onsite in Orange County, CA. There is possible flexibility with hours. This position involves clearing system generated alerts clearing and transaction monitoring, conducting detailed investigations, and reviewing regulatory filings such as Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).Responsibilities:
- Review and disposition system alerts
- Investigate unusual or suspicious transactions, including ACH, wire transfers, and cash-intensive businesses
- Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for high-risk accounts
- Review SARs and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) within regulatory timelines
- Document findings and maintain case files for audit and regulatory review
- Work closely with compliance, fraud, and operations teams to resolve alerts and mitigate risk
Skills - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in AML/BSA compliance, including alert clearing
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Actimize
- Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and FinCEN guidelines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
