Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for completing local deliveries, providing excellent customer service, and representing our company in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 16–26 ft. box truck (no CDL required).
Load, unload, and deliver products to customer locations on scheduled routes.
Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations (as applicable), and traffic laws.
Verify delivery accuracy, obtain required signatures, and complete all documentation.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and cargo area.
Communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers as needed.
Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally.
Assist with warehouse duties when required (loading, staging, organizing).
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous delivery driving experience preferred (box truck experience a plus).
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. regularly and handle physical workload.
Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Schedule:
Full-time schedule with potential overtime based on business needs.
Work Environment:
Deliver to to High Point NC and Connecticut, overnight stay 1 night; mixture of driving, loading, and customer interaction.
