Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician Manager with strong data entry expertise to lead a busy mail-order pharmacy department near Cincinnati, OH.This direct hire leadership role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician ready to step into management and oversee a high-performing team.
Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am 3:30pm
No weekends
Position Overview:
The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician Manager will provide direct oversight of the data entry department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, personable, and motivated, with the ability to lead by example while driving results.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support data entry pharmacy technicians.
Review schedules, PTO requests, and attendance records.
Monitor workload and adjust staffing as needed.
Conduct annual performance reviews and provide corrective action when necessary.
Develop, update, and implement training resources.
Communicate with clients to resolve order issues and ensure service standards are met.
Track departmental output and set individual performance goals.
Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Active and clear Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain quickly if currently licensed in a neighboring state).
PTCB certification required.
Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician leadership experience.
Strong background in data entry with proven attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
