As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role is crucial in maintaining a secure environment by remaining visible and approachable, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a key part in supporting a reliable and people-first workplace, working together with a team that values agility, innovation, and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist with visitor and vehicle management, maintaining accurate logs and records as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to employees, visitors, and drivers at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and site representatives as appropriate.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
