Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Developer to build the user interface for our ecommerce. The ideal candidate will work closely with the backend developers, Staff Engineer, and project manager to develop a highly functional and user-friendly frontend. You will be responsible for creating responsive designs and seamless UX for both customers and employees. Strong testing expertise is essential to ensure that the frontend is intuitive and bug-free.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop a responsive and dynamic UI for the ecommerce.
● Implement frontend functionalities such as order browsing, customer login, checkout flow, and admin
dashboard with Vue.js, React.js.
● Optimize the frontend for performance, security, and scalability.
● Develop unit and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
● Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
● Participate in UI/UX designing and testing with the project manager, implementing changes as needed.
● Follow best practices for SEO, including meta-tag management, and responsive design for optimal
performance on different devices.
● Ensure adherence to WCAG standards for accessibility.
Required Skills:
● Should be willing to work in a small startup environment. Ability to work independently.
● 4+ years of experience in frontend development with modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js.
● Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
● Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Vuex.
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services into the frontend.
● Experience with building responsive and accessible UIs.
● Proficiency in testing frontend applications using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
● Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them in web development.
● Knowledge of security best practices for handling user data.
● Strong familiarity with tools like AWS for hosting frontend applications.
● Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
● Should be highly familiar with Agile Methodology.
● Must resolve the bugs present in the current system.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in building platforms with complex user interactions (e.g., customizable export functionality).
● Familiarity with turning wireframes designs into code.
● Experience with e-commerce platforms or similar applications.
● Knowledge of integrating payment gateways(like stripe) for secure payment processing.
