We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our team onsite in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional iOS development experience, a strong background in Swift, and prior experience working at Capital One. This is a W2-only position, and applicants must be willing to work onsite.
Key Responsibilities:•Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced iOS applications.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX/UI, and backend developers to define app requirements and deliver high-quality features.
•Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
•Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using best practices.
•Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
•Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.
•Stay updated with the latest trends in iOS development, Apple guidelines, and tools.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
•8+ years of professional experience in iOS app development.
•Proficiency in Swift, with experience in Objective-C a plus.
•Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks (e.g., UIKit, CoreData, Combine, SwiftUI).
•Experience working in Agile environments and with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Fastlane).
•Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
•Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
•Prior experience at Capital One is highly preferred.
•Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work on W2 (no C2C or 1099).
