Night shift 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) with weekend coverage every other weekend required.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses with experience in Medical Surgical and a preference for Oncology for our medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with various general medical-surgical diagnoses, including those requiring chemotherapy administration.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection.
\n
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as DKA, AKI, sepsis, septic shock, and more.
\n
• Perform blood product administration, central line management, and peripheral line care.
\n
• Provide isolation precautions and wound care as needed.
\n
• Respond to emergencies and monitor cardiac rhythms.
\n
• Float to similar units and alternate care locations as required.
\n
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and education.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
\n
• Oncology certification (ONC) preferred, or willing to obtain certification.
\n
• Current BLS certification required.
\n
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration.
\n
• Ability to access and manage ports, and knowledge of chemotherapy administration.
\n
